Probably you would like to have long, thick and strong eyelashes, just like every woman. Make-up and care products, popular accessories and food that you certainly have at home will help you achieve it. How to use all these eyelash care and make-up products? Actually, it’s very simple and give satisfactory results.
1. Olive oil. It has been used for a long time for skin, hair and nail care. It has a good moisturising, nourishing and polishing effect and is used in a very simple way. All you need to soak a cotton bud or a comb in olive oil and brush your eyelashes with it. Another good idea is an eye mask. Cotton pads with olive oil should be placed on the eyelids and left there for a few minutes. Such treatments, when done regularly, bring quick effects in the form of smooth and moisturised skin and nourished eyelashes.
2. Vitamins and minerals. They can be found in healthy food mainly. The condition of eyelashes is improved by B and D vitamins. They also make our lashes resistant to harmful external factors. For even better results, you can include herbal infusions and healthy teas.
3. Petroleum jelly. This is a very old eyelash care method which stimulate growth and also has regenerative, lubricating, polishing and protective properties. It should be applied before bedtime with the use of a brush. In the morning the eyes should be washed with a large amount of water.
4. Oil with vitamin E. This is a very effective product that stimulates the growth of eyelashes and cares for the skin around the eyes. The oil prevents eyelash loss, rebuilds the hair structure and has moisturising properties. A bit of the cosmetic is applied to the eyelashes before going to sleep. Such treatment should last at least a month to make the effects visible.
5. Say goodbye to the eyelash curler. Too frequent use of this tool can weaken the eyelashes and damage the eyelids. A much better solution is the use of a curling mascara. The eyelash curler should be left for special occasions only.
6. Eyelash serum. There are many products on the market that stimulate the growth of eyelashes and improve their condition. These are products in the form of mascara or eyeliner, which make the application easy. Both can be used as a skin care treatment or as a mascara primer. They also have thickening, lengthening and darkening properties.
7. Make-up removal cosmetics. The choice when it comes to those kind of products is extremely important because it will strongly affect both the condition and the appearance of eyelashes, eyelids and eyes. Match the consistency, composition and properties to the type of your skin. The best are foams and cleansing milks, if you use a waterproof mascara – two-phase make-up removers. The technique is also extremely important. Pour a little bit of the remover onto the cotton pad, press against the eyelid and wait until the products dissolve. Remember to remove your make-up every evening – never go to been in full make-up as it leads to eye irritations and various skin or eye infections.
8. Be gentle. Eyelashes and eyelids are very delicate and prone to damage and irritation. When removing make-up, rubbing your eyes or washing the face, try to be as gentle as possible to these parts of the face. Otherwise, the eyelashes may begin to fall out, and your eyes and eyelids will get red.
9. Take care of your eyes. If you notice any kind of inflammation on your eyelids, your eyes start to ache, then you should see a doctor. These can be symptoms of a disease that will harm your eyelashes in the end. Eye redness, lacrimation, swelling, itching and many other symptoms may indicate a bad condition of your body.
10. False eyelashes. Actually, the application of false lashes is not worth the effort. It is very tempting to reduce the time spent on doing make-up in the morning, but such procedures also deteriorate the condition of your natural lashes. If you want to change how you lashes look, try eyelash serums, conditioning mascaras or other products described above.
